Athena Davis

Marketing Manager, North America

p. +1 (760) 214-1301

e. athena.davis@asc-aqua.org

Athena’s experience blends together almost two decades of nonprofit work and food-beverage marketing. After graduating from Boston University with a communications degree, Athena has leaned into her love for animals and environmental ethics. She first grew her career in the fields of animal welfare and social services, managing everything from operations to marketing, PR and fundraising.

She eventually took a leap of faith to pursue another passion – wine and food – serving as hospitality director of a Certified Green vineyard operation, going on to create a community and sustainability-driven marketing department for the award-winning brand.

Athena is dedicated to developing content and strategy that helps people understand where their food comes from and why they should care about its impacts. When she isn’t dreaming up campaigns or planning events, Athena can be found in the garden with her dogs, cats and chickens, exploring the outdoors, fermenting vegetables, and eating lots of certified seafood. Her favorite place to be? The beach.
