Athena Davis

Marketing Manager, North America

p. +1 (760) 214-1301

e. athena.davis@asc-aqua.org

Athena’s experience blends nearly two decades of nonprofit work and food-beverage marketing. After graduating from Boston University with a communications degree, Athena leaned into her love for animals and environmental ethics. She first grew her career in the fields of animal welfare and social services, managing everything from operations to marketing, PR and fundraising.

She eventually took a leap of faith to pursue another passion – wine and food – serving as hospitality director of a Certified Green vineyard operation, going on to create a community and sustainability-driven marketing department for an award-winning brand.

Athena is dedicated to developing content and strategy that helps people connect more deeply with their food and its impacts. When she isn’t dreaming up campaigns or planning events, Athena can be found in the garden with her dogs, cats and chickens, exploring the outdoors, cooking and eating lots of certified seafood. Her favorite place to be? The beach.

Caroline Muehlbronner

Marketing Coordinator, U.S.

p. +1 (215) 280-4408

e. caroline.muehlbronner@asc-aqua.org

Caroline graduated from Temple University with a degree in Environmental Studies and Media Studies & Production. She is passionate about ethical and sustainable practices and how those discourses align with community outreach and public messaging.

Caroline gained experience working within these fields specifically while interning for the Tropical Science Center in Costa Rica. From there, she was pulled to work for a local environmental conservation organization close to her hometown outside of Philadelphia. There, she developed campaigns, events, and was able to see how her messaging reached people locally.

After almost three years, Caroline was ready for a new challenge and began her role as ASC’s U.S-based Marketing Coordinator. Caroline is eager to dive into the seafood world and help spread the word of responsibly raised seafood to markets across North America. Outside of work, Caroline enjoys exploring outside, doodling, and watching live music. But most importantly, she just loves a good conversation.
