Athena Davis

Marketing Manager, North America

p. +1 (760) 214-1301

e. athena.davis@asc-aqua.org

Athena’s experience blends nearly two decades of nonprofit work with food-beverage marketing. After graduating from Boston University with a communications degree (while slinging seafood on the side), Athena leaned into her love for animals and environmental ethics. She first grew her career in the fields of animal welfare and social services, managing everything from operations and PR to fundraising and foster kittens.

She eventually took a leap of faith to pursue another passion – wine and food. Athena served as hospitality director of a Certified Green vineyard operation, creating a community and sustainability-driven marketing department for the award-winning brand in California’s wine country.

Athena is dedicated to developing content and strategy that helps people connect more deeply with their food and its impacts. When she isn’t dreaming up campaigns or making new connections, Athena can be found in the garden with her dogs, cats and chickens, exploring the outdoors, and cooking lots of certified seafood. Her favorite place to be? The beach.
