Athena DavisAthena Davis
Marketing Manager, U.S.

Athena’s experience blends over a decade of nonprofit work and food-beverage marketing. After graduating from Boston University with a communications degree, Athena leaned into her love for animals and environmental ethics. She grew her career advocating for shelter animals at the Humane Society and, later, providing critical services for pets and low income families at the Foundation for Animal Care & Education. Athena has managed programs ranging from foster care and rescue operations to PR and fundraising.
She eventually took a leap of faith pursuing another passion – wine and food – taking on a role as hospitality director of a Certified Green winery and vineyards, eventually leading the marketing and communications department.

Sustainability and community are always top-of-mind. Athena loves creating content that helps people understand where their food comes from and why they should care about its impacts. When she isn’t dreaming up campaigns or planning events, Athena can be found in the garden with her dogs, cats and chickens, exploring the outdoors, and cooking pescatarian feasts with her husband. Athena splits her time between the east and west coasts of the U.S., where she grew up. Her favorite place to be? The beach.
