Smoked trout sushi cups

    Ingredients
  • 2 sheets of Nori cut into 1/4 sections (or 8 single Nori sheets)
  • 1 Tin of Safe Catch Smoked Trout in Water
  • 1 cup of sushi rice
  • 1/4 cup Kewpie mayo
  • Sriracha to taste
  • Furikake to taste
  • Soy sauce optional

Instructions / Directions

Serves: 1-2
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Cook sushi rice according to packaged instructions and let cool
  3. If using nori sheets, cut each sheet into 4 sections for a total of 8 pieces
  4. In a separate bowl, mix 1 tin of Smoked Trout in Water, drained with Kewpie mayo and sriracha to taste
  5. Place each nori piece into a section of your muffin tin
  6. Fill each nori “cup” with a spoon full sushi rice and pack down
  7. Top sushi rice with your trout mixture
  8. Place your sushi cups into your oven and cook for 15-18 minutes
  9. Remove sushi cups from the oven and let cool
  10. Top each cup with Furikake seasoning
  11. Enjoy! Or dip/top with additional sushi flavorings of your choice like soy sauce, spicy mayo, eel sauce, etc.
