We are an impact-driven organization with the aim to transform seafood farming towards sustainability. Because at ASC, we believe that aquaculture – if done responsibly – has an important role to play in feeding the world’s growing population. The aquaculture industry is already supplying more than half of all seafood consumed worldwide. But if not carried out responsibly, fish farming can risk negative environmental and social impacts.

2024 in Review: The Year of Feed

In 2024 we continued setting the standard for seafood. We celebrated the first ASC certified feed mills and more certified farms in new countries. We continued to measure progress of the Improver Program by ASC and welcomed more retailers as they chose ASC to prove their seafood sustainability commitments.

At ASC we are advancing change through our programs and assurance and championing change through collaborations to innovate, accelerate and drive demand.
